Since 2010, over one million African migrants have left their home countries to reach Europe, taking them on unimaginably dangerous journeys across desert and sea.
Migrant Sea is a multimedia documentary about their stories and voices, told in their words.
purpose
The current story of migration begins at European borders, either the Balkans or the Mediterranean.
It's not the story of migrants, but about Others breaking into our 'Fortress Europe'.
Silent are the voices of those who left their homes forever, who survived journeys filled with violence, suffering, and death, and are faced with statelessness when arriving in their promised land.
